The Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Baseball season is right around the corner and we got a chance to visit with some of the players from this years team.

Today we've got pitcher, Jack Burk.

Jack Burk is a sophomore from New Orleans, LA. Burke was very impressive as a freshman last season posting a 2-4 record with a 2.45 ERA in 11 starts. Burk isn't a big strikeout guy, he's more of a strike thrower, has great command, and will be the opening day starter this coming Friday against Texas. He will also bear some of the responsibility in assisting the pitching staff in making up for the loss of Gunner Leger.

Burk gives us his outlook on the 2018 season, taking a leadership role this year what he worked on this off-season, influence of Gunner Leger, what position he would want to play other than pitcher, and we played a little word association with him towards the end.

Coming up tomorrow afternoon we'll hear from freshman pitcher Brock Batty.
