17 Teams From Acadiana Area Still Alive In LHSAA Football Playoffs

17 teams from the Acadiana area remain alive in the LHSAA football playoffs, with ten preparing to host second round games this week.

In the non-select brackets, eight teams from the Acadiana area still have state championship aspirations, with four teams hosting playoff games this week.

In Class 5A, one team from the Acadiana area remains, as 15th-seeded Acadiana will travel to take on second-seeded Ponchatoula.

In Class 4A, #14 Rayne will be on the road to take on #3 Franklinton, while #15 Breaux Bridge travels to take on #2 Neville.

In Class 3A, second-seeded Church Point will entertain 15th-seeded North Webster, 11th-seeded Jennings hosts 27th-seeded North Vermilion, and 13th-seeded Kaplan will be on the road to square off with fourth-seeded Union Parish.
