Texas A&M showed why they are the 10th ranked team in the country as they pulled away from LSU in the second half, beating the Tigers 71-57 at the Reed Center in College Station, TX Tuesday night.

The Aggies (16-2, 6-0 SEC) got it done on the defensive end in the second half, holding the Tigers (11-7, 4-2) to just 9-28 (32.1%) in the second half.

Jalen Jones scored 20 points to lead the Aggies, hitting 9-14 from the field.  Tyler Davis was 7-9 for the Aggies, scoring 19 points.

The game was tied at 44 after a Victor field goal, but LSU would make just two of their next 13 attempts and by the time they got a three point basket with under two minutes to go, the Aggies had extended their lead to eleven points.

Texas A&M led 38-34 at the half, coming back from a 29-24 deficit.  The Aggies shot 57 percent in the first half, while the Tigers shot just 41%.
